NRL superstar Nathan Cleary has offered a rare behind-the-scenes look at his personal life as he chronicles the renovations to his luxury western Sydney home.
In between winning premierships, the reigning Clive Churchill Medal winner has been busy updating the 15-year-old home he bought from his father and coach Ivan in June for $1.7m.
Cleary lives in the home, which sits next to the Nepean River and just a short drive from the Penrith Panthers’ home ground of BlueBet Stadium, as a teenager.

While Cleary has been tight-lipped about his relationship with Matildas star Mary Fowler, the 25-year-old has opened up his home to his army of footy fans and renovation afficianados via a series of social media posts.
The posts also appeared on the social media pages of interior design firm Alicia Xiberra Interiors, who Cleary has contracted to undertake the ‘moody’ renovations.
‘Introducing our bathroom design for our Penrith local legend Nathan Cleary,’ the post from Alicia Xiberra Interiors reads.

“Designing Nathan’s bathroom was a great experience, as his brief was out of the ordinary.
“This bathroom is the definition of urban masculine style, with a luxurious look. To achieve this, the AXI team created a contrasting color palette with a mix of refined and unique shapes to help bring Nathan’s vision to life.
“Be sure to stay tuned for more of Nathan’s home renovations to come!”
In the chat about renovating the home, Cleary also discusses how it is considering a ‘moody’ color scheme.
According to property records, the 892 sqm property traded hands via an internal family transfer for $1.7m.
Ivan Cleary bought the Western Sydney home in 2013 for $1.175m during his first stint as Penrith coach, when Nathan was still in his teens.
Cleary Snr was spotted lending a hand during the Nepean floods of 2022, when Hawkesbury experienced its worst flooding conditions in 44 years with a water height of almost 14m.
The contemporary home sits in a relaxed, leafy setting with both indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, with floor to ceiling windows allowing in plenty of natural light.
According to PropTrack, the median house price in Penrith is $840,000. That’s down 4.5 per cent over the past 12 months.
The home is conveniently located close to the Panthers home ground of BlueBet Stadium and not far from where Nathan Cleary’s two-time premiership winning halves partner Jerome Luai bought his first home recently.
