A development application has been lodged for the RFurnishing and Improvement of the Brighton Hotel, located at 200 Brighton Terrace, Brighton. Designed by Red Design Group, the proposal seeks to provide an additional outdoor covered dining area and kids’ playground towards the southern and western facades of the hotel. Acoustic attenuation will be provided to the new outdoor areas through glazing and new walls. A RENOVATION company has to pay an accountant RM15,000 for unfinished work on his home in the Johor capital. Johor Baru Consumer Claims Tribunal president Lee Chee Thim ordered the respondent to pay Phua Wei Kian in two installations – RM7,500 on March 30 and RM7,500 on April 30. University of Kentucky can’t move ticket holders’ seats after Rupp renovation, judge rules

A Franklin Circuit judge has stopped the University of Kentucky from changing the seats of two UK men’s basketball ticket holders. Under a proposed change, those tickets would have been given away to the highest bidder. Judge Phillip Shepherd granted the order to John Meyers and Kathy Walker. Both of them sued UK after they were told they would lose their current tickets and get new ones handed out in order of donations to the K Fund, a sports booster organization.
