The extensive, multiyear renovation of the Salt Lake Temple reached a pinnacle of sorts Tuesday, Feb. 13, with the placement of the final reinforcing steel pyramid atop the iconic house of the Lord. Rock Island city council and planning meetings moving County Building during renovations

With renovations to Rock Island City Hall set to begin April 1, City Council meetings and study sessions will move into the County Board Room starting Monday. The County Board Room is located on the third floor of the County Office Building at 1504 3rd St. The building is right next to Rock Island City Hall. The city’s permits and inspections service counter has been moved to the third floor of City Hall.
